Selling Change

All the ads from the original sources for this selection featured female volunteers. Why do you think that is? How do you respond to that choice? How might others respond?

    I think they do that because they whant to make a chang in the world but I think it is a bad deshon.

    I think that the ads used females to show that this volunteering work isn't just for men, even though it could be hard labour. I think they should have used men in a few of the ads just to make it even. Others might think that the people running the ads are being sexiest but you have to remember that these are only a few ads, there are still plenty that we havent seen that would advertise with men.

    I think that in the ads there are all women because a long time ago all of the women did not have very good rights so now they want to show that it is not only men that have rights to leave the country, now it is all women because they diserve to have kind of like their time in the spot light and they can not just be proud of themselves they will be able to say that they did a good thing in the world for other girls and boys so they can have a good future as the girls of today do now.

    I think that females volunteer more then guys because guys really dont like to help but some do.I think guys and girls are should be on the page.most guys dont like to help but others live to help,boys should be on some other ad just not these ads. Girls should have some too. Some people would agree and some wouldnt its up to them.

    I think that they did that because the girls in africa are more likiey to get adds and so they would put girls for the addvertiscment

    I think women/girls out of all of the years we lived on this earth and women haven't had their say in what goes on. I think the people who made the posters/logos/advertisements wanted to show that women have rights too. I agree with the authors of the addvertisements, women should have a say in what happens in our world. Us women make more people in this world. In the future women could change the world to try to make the world a better place. I think people will agree that women need a say in the world.

    I think they believe that women are more likely to volunteer than men, so that is who they target. Seeing the the women in the ads though, might trigger a reaction in men. I think that also, women are kind of naturally caring so they figure that more women will volunteer than men.

    i think that they used women because there could be more men than there are women so.....
    they are trying to get more females to do the job they are addvertising.

    I think that they are all female volunteers because there are more girls in the world and alot of people think girls are smarter then guys
    and that is not true.

    i think all of the ads have female volounteeers becausethere are more women in the world then men. i think people will not really notice bacause most people ddont
